Banyan Tree Veya, Valle De Guadalupe Opens in Mexico

Banyan Group has announced the opening of Banyan Tree Veya, Valle de Guadalupe, a wellness resort set amid Mexico’s wine country. Accessible within 90 minutes from the U.S. border, the opening marks the first full-fledged property for the group’s wellbeing-focused brand, Banyan Tree Veya.

Located in the hills of Baja California, the 16-acre Banyan Tree Veya, Valle de Guadalupe comprises a collection of 30 villas with private plunge pools, a variety of wellness experiences and an ethnobotanical garden. The resort also offers a private winery that will debut an exclusive collection of wines dedicated solely to Grenache, as well as several culinary outlets.

Each villa at the resort has a private plunge pool, wine bar, fireplace and outdoor terrace. With panoramic windows framing the vistas, guests can take in the scenery from the comfort of their beds. Designed with well-being in mind, each villa also offers a range of high-end amenities, including yoga mats, floating weights and mindfulness aids. A standout villa includes the 3,400-square-foot Winemaker’s Three-bedroom Pool Villa with vineyard views. The villa can accommodate up to six guests.

The resort also has seven culinary concepts, weaving healthy ingredients and practices into both traditional and modern Mexican dishes. The outlets utilize locally harvested food that supports small farms and is sustainably sourced.

Additionally, Banyan Tree Veya offers a range of wellness experiences. Itineraries are customized around each individual from a questionnaire and pre-arrival consultation with a team of experts. The Veya Spa will be home to four treatment rooms, the Desert Spring hydrotherapy room, Vitality Fitness Studio, the White Cave for meditation and sound healing, Multifunction Movement Studio, two hilltop pools, a labyrinth and a temazcal. It will offer a range of treatments rooted in Asian and local indigenous rituals, met with products from Veya Pharm, the property’s garden, and a range of well-being offerings from Qi Body Flow to ancient massage techniques. Integrating functional movement and mindful awareness, daily group and private classes include breathwork, singing bowl therapy, apothecary workshops, yoga, meditation, and more.

Banyan Tree Veya, Valle de Guadalupe offers a variety of spaces for weddings, events and celebrations with facilities in a unique setting, complete with curated and grounding activities for groups to enjoy the surrounding valley and its culture.

This resort marks Banyan Group’s fifth property in the Mexico region and is accessible via San Diego or Tijuana International Airport.
